Privacy policy

• Account data: name, email, phone number, college and city you give us at signup.
• Broker data: agency name, contact number and the details submitted for verification.
• Activity data: saved homes, enquiries, visit bookings and listings you create.
• Technical data: device type and browser information recorded when a listing is viewed, used to detect fraud and measure interest.

• To pass your enquiry or visit request to the right owner or broker.
• To verify broker accounts and review listings before they go live.
• To send service notifications about your bookings, enquiries and account.
• To detect fraud, misuse and unsafe listings.

Your profile is private to you and our admin team. When you contact a broker or book a visit, that broker sees the message, the requested slot and the contact details needed to reach you. We never sell your personal data or share it with advertisers.

We use trusted infrastructure providers to host the database, run authentication and send email. They process data only on our instructions.

Data is stored with row-level access rules so each account can only read its own records, and admin-only functions are protected server side. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfect, so please use a strong, unique password.

Account and listing data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account we remove your profile and listings, retaining only what we must for legal, accounting or fraud prevention reasons, typically for up to 12 months.

You can access and correct your details in your profile, request a copy of your data, ask us to delete your account, or object to specific processing. Email privacy@nivara.in or use the contact page, and we will respond within 30 days.
